2. You really cannot miss with this series, as long as you are getting the full 20 song CDs. Love the covers and flip book with brief bios on the songs, if that appeals to you. Sound quality very good. These make up approximately half my Blues Collection and are a good place, but not the only series, to start with.5/5(4).

9. Norwegian guitarist Hedvig Mollestad steps outside her trio to cut a new solo album that is quite a bit different. Ekhidna finds her melding her hard rock guitar to an overtly jazz rock and prog rock sound. She gets a filthy dirty tone that is a sharp juxtaposition from the clean sounds from the ensemble and somehow it all melds beautifully.
